Extra Sleeves - For Larger Diameters

We make extra metal sleeves available for bending larger diameters of PVC pipe. There are two main reasons to get an extra sleeve. The first is to increase the heating diameter of the PVC Bendit. For this, just slip the sleeve over your bender, and you can increase your heating diameter without having to buy a larger bender. The second reason - the cold sleeve - is to provide internal support when you are actually making bends in larger diameter pipe. You pull the pipe off the bender, slip in the cold sleeve, and make your bend. This keeps the wall from kinking or collapsing, which is great when you're working with 2 inch pipe or larger. It also helps when you're making extremely tight bends in 1 1/4 inch pipe.
